The makers of ‘Ramayanam’ have launched a unique campaign, taking the legacy of this epic to the younger generation!

With its reach to over 400 schools, 18 cities, and over 5 lakh students, the campaign is designed to take the legacy of this epic to a younger audience before the film’s theatrical release.

Namit Malhotra’s’ Ramayanam ‘is undoubtedly one of the biggest cinematic spectacles that will showcase India to the entire world. With the release of the first look of ‘Ram’, the makers had given the audience a glimpse into the legacy of one of India’s most evergreen epics, which created a huge stir. Now, as a first-of-its-kind cultural outreach initiative, the team behind ‘Ramayanam’ has launched a massive country-wide school activation campaign, taking the spirit, values, and legacy of one of India’s greatest epics directly to young audiences across the country.

As part of this deep student engagement initiative, the campaign reached out to over 5 lakh students in over 400 schools across 18 cities, including Bengaluru, Delhi, and cities in Uttar Pradesh. Designed to bring the world of Ramayanam closer to young minds, the programme included a variety of fun-filled activities such as drawing and creative expression sessions, quiz competitions, and interactive discussions that encouraged children to experience the epic together with their families. “It’s our truth. Our history. Based on the idea, the initiative was aimed at inspiring the next generation to connect with the evergreen values and rich legacy of Ramayanam through creativity, participation, and storytelling.

Taking inspiration from one of the most celebrated epics of all time, Nitesh Tiwari’s’ Ramayanam ‘is all set to recreate its evergreen emotions and grandeur on a larger cinematic scale. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita. Sunny Deol is playing the role of Lord Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey is essaying the role of Lakshman.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in association with 8-time Oscar-winning VFX studio DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, the two-part epic film will release worldwide in IMAX. Part 1 Diwali in 2026 and Part 2 Diwali in 2027.
