Mumbai,  1st December 2023 : Ranbir Kapoor delivers a powerhouse performance in ‘Animal,’ a film that seamlessly weaves together elements of revenge, family drama, and redemption. Kapoor’s portrayal of a complex character adds depth to this gritty narrative, leaving audiences on the edge of their seats.Animal is a nearly three-and-a-half-hour exhausting film that is an all-out assault on the senses. The story of a boy’s manic adoration for his super wealthy industrialist-father is told through a protagonist who goes hell for leather, spills tons of blood, kills tens of people and blows hot and hotter when he figures out that a conspiracy is indeed afoot to eliminate the patriarch and rob his family of the steel plant that it owns. 

The protagonist is not interested in niceties, he demands unquestioning allegiance from everyone around him. In love, he does not so much as fall in love as make a grab for it. He does not propose marriage; he literally demands it. He is only interested in the girl’s unwavering loyalty and does not care about her own desires or feelings.

‘Animal’ breaks away from conventional Bollywood storytelling, opting for a raw and real approach. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga crafts a narrative that is intense, unpredictable, and deeply human. The film’s unapologetic exploration of dark themes makes it a refreshing departure from the norm.
