The partnership aims to enable the hospitality brand to reach out to a larger set of customers and increase their uptake of home delivery

Mumbai, June 28, 2021: Although COVID-19 has disrupted several industries, hospitality has been one of the worst hits. Hotels and restaurants were severely impacted by the lockdowns with a dip in sales, revenues and customer footfalls. In trying times like these, Gurgaon-based O2O commerce brand DotPe has come forward to help these businesses recuperate from the losses and ensure seamless continuity with its innovative tech-driven solutions. As part of this initiative, the company has partnered with The Lalit Hotel to bolster its restaurant operations.

The strategic association will enable The Lalit Hotel to continue serving their valued guests with healthy meals through DotPe’s seamless and contactless ordering solution, thereby helping them maintain a healthy and continuous relationship with customers. Guests who are unable to come to the restaurant can now place online orders and get the food delivered to their doorstep. DotPe’s last mile delivery will help the hospitality brand to reach out to a larger set of audience and cater to their needs more seamlessly than ever.

Speaking on the association, Anurag Gupta – Co-Founder & COO – DotPe said, “We are a tech-powered enterprise that strongly believes in innovation, and how it can change the face of offline businesses. Since our inception, we have strived to develop and deliver end-to-end digital capabilities that can not only help businesses transform their operations but also increase their online presence. We are glad to join hands with a leading hospitality player like The Lalit Hotel and empower them in their growth journey. We hope our unique platform makes their existing operations more seamless and provide their guests highly satisfactory delivery experiences.”

Mr. Rocky Kalra – Corporate General Manager – Operations & Development, The Lalit Hotels said, “The most important aspect of choosing any platform is its process and the technology. We are delighted to collaborate with DotPe as their platform is user-friendly, both for users and the backend team. It has provided us with immense flexibility and control to modify the menu whenever we wish to without any charges. On top of this, the platform already has a strong network of delivery partners, which makes the overall delivery process easy and hassle-free for us. So far, the response from our customers has been great and we look forward to this relationship as it plays a pivotal role in accelerating our growth and recovery.”

DotPe has been supporting the restaurants since the first wave of the pandemic last year through its suite of contactless solutions, assisting them to reorient their operations by connecting with their customers directly through WhatsApp. The company has enabled businesses to avail its services at a low flat fee rather than a percentage-based commission. Even after the lockdown was lifted, the restaurants could use DotPe’s QR-based catalogue and e-commerce platform for digital ordering, which ensured minimal human touch. Since then, 15000+ restaurants and food courts have been digitally powered by DotPe.
