In the Fast paced life of Mumbai and other metro cities, eating out today has become a daily routine for most urban families and millennials. Considering this affects your body and health, how many options does one have when all they need is a quick meal but also want it to be nutritious healthy, low on carbs, non-fried and also appealing to the taste buds?
The answer is close to none!
Welcome Pita Pit, which is a Canadian quick-service restaurant chain having 567 outlets across 10 countries. India itself has 20 outlets across the Delhi-NCR region, Bangalore and Hyderabad. Now the brand is eying the West Indian market with the launch in Mumbai in Phoenix Marketcity Kurla.
Speaking on the occasion Rashi Agarwal – Managing Director – MuVi Concept Restaurants Pvt Ltd. said “This is our first franchisee outlet for the West region and I am working all out to ensure its success, so right from getting the decor and branding to daily operations I am and will be constantly struggling to ensure customer delight, we have taken the master franchisee for South and West India and has ambitious plans of expanding the count to at least 20 stores in the region by December 2020 and 50 by 2022”.
The refreshing menu offers customized, healthy and nutritious Pita wraps, Salads and Brown Rice Salads. It provides a healthy alternative to high carb, high fat, fast food. The fillings are freshly grilled in front of your eyes and not fried and the meals are fully customizable enabling you to choose 3 different spreads, 3 different kinds of cheese, 14 vegetables and 12 sauces. The choice of 24 different fillings includes a lot of flavors like Kathi chicken and Hara Bhara kebab which have been customized to suit the Indian palate. There is an equal spread of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
The soups and pita chips are a welcome addition and refreshing beverages include freshly prepared cold coffee and lemonade in addition to a host of other cold-pressed juices and iced teas. The Nutella-Banana dessert pita is a must-try. A separate kids combo makes it a family place to eat.
“We currently have two outlets in Bangalore, both in IT parks and two in Hyderabad. Both the cities have accepted the product well as there was a gap in the market due to a lack of healthy fast food. We are looking forward to the response to Mumbai. So Mumbaikars, get ready to binge on some yummy food!”, said Ms. Rashi Agarwal, Managing Director, MuVi Concept Restaurants.
