Bengaluru Women to train in Self Defense from World’s Best Commando Trainer Shifuji

Shifuji_Shroff_KapoorBengaluru, 21st June, 2016: Mission Prahar, a self-defense training program for girls above 8 years and women, initiated across the country by Grandmaster Shifuji Shaurya Bhardwaj is set take place on the 25th and 26th of June, 2016, in the premises of Trio World Academy, Sahakarnagar, Bengaluru. Mission Prahar aims to empower one crore women in the country in self-defense. The mission has already reached out to around 30 lakh women across the country. The purpose of the program is to train women to protect themselves when faced with danger. Trio World Academy has tied up with Mission Prahar and has given the mission a platform to reach out to the residents of Bengaluru.

Grandmaster Shifuji stated that “Empowerment needs to be self-driven. Attacks may come in any form and it could be any person. It is not always possible for a girl/woman to find someone to defend her. This makes it necessary for every girl to train in self-defense, so that she can independently ensure her own safety. Mission Prahar’s sole objective is to train women in this stance, so that their safety rests in their own hands.”

Naveen KM, Managing Director, Trio World Academy stated, “Given the rising trend of violence against women, there is a dire need to empower them. It is important that every girl is capable of tending to her own safety effectively and we are proud to facilitate Mission Prahar reach its objective on our premises. This is the purpose behind our association with Mission Prahar and Grandmaster Shifuji, who offer training to girls who are eight years and above”
