Mr Deepak Chandnani, CEO, Worldline South Asia and Middle East 1 mti newsMumbai, August 2016:Corporation Bank has launched a new facility called “Green PIN”, an online module for PIN generation for credit cardsin association with Worldline India, the leading e-payments processor in the country. It will now be convenient for cardholders to change their credit card PIN anywhere, anytime; it has also accelerated the process as people need not depend on the bank and postal services for physical delivery of the PIN. Customers who receive the Credit Card but not the PIN can also generate a fresh PIN, enabling them to use the card immediately. It is aptly titled, ‘Green Pin’, as it is a no paper initiative taken by the bank. Security is also taken care of as the PIN change is OTP based and needs to be authenticated by the primary cardholder.

Speaking on the launch, Deepak Chandnani, CEO of Worldline South Asia and Middle East stated that, “Worldline is pleased to have developed the Green PIN facility for Corporation Bank credit cards. Customers can instantly generate a PIN for their cards online and start using it, instead of waiting for 7-10 days to receive the PIN. It also eliminates the process of printing and dispatching the PIN separately. In a country having close to 25 million credit cards, this facility can help quicker activation of cards, reduce cost to banks and provide better security for the cardholder.”
