Swavalamban Mela 2022 organised by SIDBI

Mumbai 3rd April 2022: Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), as part of its 32nd Foundation Day and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahostav celebrations has organised a ‘Swavalamban Mela”, at its BKC Office, Mumbai. It is a 4 – day event starting from April 02, 2022. This Mela shall give an opportunity to micro entrepreneurs especially women and artisans to showcase and sell their products. Such events focus to empower micro entrepreneurs / artisans / SHGs, to widen their customer base.
The Swavalamban Mela was inaugurated by Shri S Ramann, Chairman & Managing Director of SIDBI. During his inaugural address Shri Ramann said, “SIDBI under its Mission Swavalamban campaign aims to support artisans and women entrepreneurs to become self-reliant by making their businesses sustainable and this Mela shall help in achieving this objective.”
Apart from promotion and development of enterprises, this event will also facilitate such enterprises to scale up through appropriate funding support.
