Self defense workshop by film Daughter team

The producer of the hindi feature film Daughter, Dr. Medha Mehendale has taken this initiative to fight against injustice and violence towards women.

The team has organized a self defense workshop at Anand Vishwa Gurukul, Raghunath Nagar, Thane in the presence of Anjusha Chaughule and Rashmi Karandikar, deputy commissioner of police (DCP), traffic, Thane followed by rally from Gadkari Rangayatan, Thane to Collector Office, Thane to highlight points like injustice and increasing crime against women.

Daughter is a small film with a big heart based on an orphan girl and the emotional turmoil with her new family and a new perspective towards orphan children.
