PM asks RBI to prepare a 20-year road map for financial inclusion

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday asked RBI to prepare a 20-year road map for financial inclusion.
The Prime Minister was addressing RBI’s Financial Inclusion conference in Mumbai on Thursday, as the Bank turns 80.
He said as much as 14,000 crore rupees have been deposited following the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna.
Describing the 80 years is a very important mile stone; he said a banking reform is on in the country.
This help in usher in transparency in providing social security to the poor. He said the most important goal is financial inclusion.
