New Delhi (September 1, 2021) – Nissan India announces a wholesale of 3209 vehicles for August 2021, on the strength of the successful launch of all-new Nissan Magnite. Domestic wholesale was 3209 vehicles for the Nissan and Datsun range with 810 units in August 2020, growth of over 296%.

“With the start of the festive season, customer sentiments are positive with increasing inflow of bookings, the challenge is on the supply side with shortages & increased lead time of semi-conductors supply impacting the availability of vehicles. We foresee this challenge to continue during the coming months while we continue to work with the supply chain in an endeavour to deliver more Nissan Magnite to customers so that they can enjoy the game changing SUV at the earliest, while we continue to focus on customer experience strengthening the network by increasing the capacity and capability.” said Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Ltd.

The newly launched all-new Nissan Magnite has had a phenomenal customer response with more than 60,000 cumulative bookings as it comes with the best-ever, lowest-in-class maintenance cost at just 30 paise/km (for 50,000 kms). Peace of mind comes with a warranty of 2 years (50,000kms) which can be extended for up to 5 years (100,000 kms) at a nominal cost. Nissan customers may also book services and even check costs online through the Nissan Service Cost Calculator via Nissan Service Hub or Nissan Connect, bringing utmost transparency to the process supported by Nissan’s 24/7 Roadside Assistance available in over 1500 cities*.

Additionally, Nissan’s service network includes the Nissan Cost Calculator, Nissan ‘Book a Service’ and Nissan ‘Pick-up & Drop-off’ service. The ‘Nissan Roadside Assistance’ is also available across 29 states and 1500+ cities along with 24*7 multi-lingual call centre operational services to help customers

Towards ensuring the health and safety of its customers in mind, Nissan dealerships have the ‘Convenience of Doorstep Service’ and ‘Pick-up & Drop-off’ services of Nissan & Datsun cars to and from dealerships which mitigates the risk of infection and minimizes disruptions in the schedule of customers.
