Mothers from the city spending time with the less-fortunate kids during the '#MothersForAll' initiative by Mothers Recipe at Vatsalya Foundation, Mahalaxmi (W) (2)Mumbai,Sunday, May 8, 2016:A warm Sunday morning provided the perfect setting as Mother’s Recipe hosted a special initiative #Motherforall, an activity that invited mothers from the city to join them and to celebrate and share their love with children who don’t have a mother. The brand partnered with fifteen Orphanages across five cities in India – Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Pune, that brought together close to 400 mothers spending Mother’s day with 500 kids.

The afternoon at Vatsalya Foundation, Mahalakshmi, Anand Kendra, Worli and SnehaSadan, Jogehswari came alive as 120 mothers joined in to celebrate this special day with close to close to 150 kids over excited conversations, bales of laughter, riveting music and dance, fun activities like cake cutting ceremony, card making workshop, photo booth with props among others. The highlight of the celebration was when mothers adorned the chef’s hat and cooked up gastronomical delights from Mother’s Recipe’s RTE and RTC range and fed the kids. It was a heart warming experience of Maakehaathokapyaar, an experience that mothers & children enjoyed equally.

#MotherForAll is a novel initiative by Mother’s Recipe undertaken every year to mark this special day. The intent is to invite mothers to spend a day full of fun and joy with the kids in orphanages. The activity that was initiated last year with two orphanages in Mumbai was scaled up this year to five major cities.

Brainchild of Ms. Sanjana Desai, Head Business Development, Desai Brothers Ltd said, “Words cannot describe the energy and emotions each one of us experienced today. The mothers had so much love to share and watching them embracing the children, feeding them & playing with them, was truly the greatest feeling. The children are so talented and were very warm and welcoming. Our #MotherForAll initiative finds resonance and synergies with our brand ethos and keeping this in mind we instituted this campaign last year in Mumbai on Mother’s Day with an aim to give a taste of mother’s love to the children who don’t have one. We are delighted with the response and more importantly overjoyed to have been able to add a memorable day and smile to their lives.”Mothers from the city spending time with the less-fortunate kids during the '#MothersForAll' initiative by Mothers Recipe at Vatsalya Foundation, Mahalaxmi (W)Mothers from the city spending time with the less-fortunate kids during the '#MothersForAll' initiative by Mothers Recipe at Vatsalya Foundation, Mahalaxmi (W) (1)
