Gloster to be India ‘s First Autonomous (Level 1) Premium SUV
Mumbai, 13th September 2020: As MG Motor enters a luxury car brand phase in the country with its next offering – Gloster, we are excited to bring a new wave of smart mobility. The premium SUV MG Gloster will feature autonomous and intelligent features such as Lane Departure Warning and Fatigue Reminder System. The Lane Departure Warning (LDW) is a safety feature that alerts you when you change lanes while driving. Gloster will also have the intelligent feature Fatigue Reminder System. This system works through AI by judging steering input, not just through a timer – making it more advanced than normal Fatigue Reminder System.
The MG Gloster’s autonomous features include Front Collision Warning (FCW), Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) and Auto Park Assist (APA) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW). The car was first showcased at Auto Expo 2020 in February and will compete against the premium SUVs in the country like Land Cruiser Prado.
