Mangal Industries inaugurates new Plastics Facility in ‘Amara Raja Growth Corridor’ at Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh

20140214_15105922nd June 2016: Mangal Industries – a company of the Amara Raja Group – inaugurated a new facility for engineering plastics at the ‘Amara Raja Growth Corridor’ (ARGC), a 500-acre industrial park. Dr N Siva Prasad, Honourable Member of Parliament, Chittoor in the presence of Honourable Chairman of the Amara Raja Group, Dr Ramachandra N Galla inaugurated the plant, in his address to the gathering he acknowledged the contribution of Amara Raja Group towards industrialisation & employment creation in Andhra Pradesh and appreciated the quality standards of the facility, the fourth manufacturing unit to have come up in the ARGC in the past three years. The foundation stone for the plastic moulding facility was laid by the Honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr N Chandrababu Naidu, in May 2015.logo

One of the major companies of the Amara Raja Group, Mangal Industries Ltd (MIL) has six business verticals: sheet metal industrial enclosures, automotive fasteners, engineering plastics, storage solutions and food pulp and beverages. MIL witnessed a business turnover of Rs 550 cr in FY16 with six manufacturing plants at three locations in Chittoor. This is the seventh manufacturing plant at the fourth location in Chittoor.
