Industry awaits 7th edition of India Nuclear Energy

UBM India today, announced the 7th edition of India Nuclear

Energy, the only exhibition and summit exclusively dedicated to support and promote the

growth and development of the Civil Nuclear Energy industry. Co-organised with DAE

(Department of Atomic Energy and supported by NPCIL (Nuclear Power Corporation of

India Ltd.), the theme of the event is: Nuclear Power & The Make In India Concept.

India Nuclear Energy 2015 would have Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State, Atomic

Energy, Prime Minister’s Office, Government of India as the Chief Guest and Dr. R K

Sinha, Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission will deliver the Keynote address. The

summit will bring together senior officials from DAE, NPCIL, IAEA (International Atomic

Energy Agency) and other private companies from the civil nuclear industry. Additional

highlights of India Nuclear Energy 2015 would include a seminar based on the

collaboration between Canada & India.

India Nuclear Energy 2015, with over 70 exhibitors will showcase latest offerings and

technologies including innovations, system optimizations, maintenance, and condition

monitoring equipment from industry suppliers for the civil nuclear industry. The two day

event will provide opportunities to domestic and international companies to interact and

network with exhibitors from countries such as Canada, Russia and France in addition to

India and tap the huge potential of the nuclear sector.

The event is also marked by a one day conference on 15th October to discuss and

deliberate on industry topics such as Nuclear Power – The Indian scenario, Make in India

– Atomic Energy: The present status, Localization of Foreign Technology, Public

acceptance and CSR issues in Nuclear Energy and Expert speak on The Civil Nuclear

programme: the Last decade and the outlook for the near future. This will also be

augmented by face to face ‘speed meetings’ with leading companies in the Engineering

Procurement and Construction (EPCs), Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs), System

builders and End user category.
