INDIAN INK INDUSTRY POISED TO MAKE A LEAP TO CAPTURE THE WORLD MARKET

Mumbai 14 November 2022: The All India Printing Ink Manufacturers’ Association has slated to hold it’s signature event ASIA COAT + INK SHOW on 17, 18, 19 November 2022 at NESCO Bombay Exhibition Centre.

The Suppliers of Resins, Additives, Solvents, Pigments, Monomers, Manufacturers and Dealers of Machinery & Instruments together with the Printing Ink Manufacturers have booked their space to participate in the Asia’s biggest Coatings and Ink Show “ASIA COAT + INK SHOW”.

 

To impart knowledge, The Association has invited the students from Engineering Colleges, Packaging Institutions, Institute of Printing to visit the show and learn about the current developments in the Printing Ink Industry.

Concurrently,  AIPIMA is also organising an INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE on “NEXT GENERATION PRINTING INK & TECHNOLOGY, ISSUES-TRENDS AND WAY FORWARD” on 16th November 2022 at Hotel Courtyard by Marriot, International Airport Mumbai.

Mr Raghavan Shridhara president AIPIMA commented “The Global Printing Ink market is estimated to be around US $ 15 Billion (INK WORLD). The Indian ink market is estimated to be around $1 billion (PRINT WEEK) There are around 300 ink manufacturers in India spread over pan India with high concentration of them in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi (NCR), Tamil Nādu, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, West Bengal, & UP. (AIPIMA). The Estimated employment offered by Ink industry is around 100000 people directly and including channel partners to around 120000 people. The entire printing industry offers employment to close to 15 Crore people, who need ink to complete their jobs.

Dr Raghav Rao, vice president AIPIMA commented “There is no accredited independent testing Lab in India for testing the quality of printings inks conforming to the required standards globally. The All-India Printing Inks Manufacturers’ Association (AIPIMA) has initiated to set up a test lab for testing of printing inks in collaboration with Indian Institute of packaging (IIP)
