The bold and beautiful models set the ramp on fire while showcasing the designer’s collection during the show.

The Mumbai edition of the Intimate Fashion Tour was opened by ace designer Shriti Pratap. Shriti Pratap has profound learning in sustainable style. She has incorporated social duty through craftsmanship and fashion in her business targets. Her contemplations are bringing significant uplift to FFC brand. She goes by her own label ‘Shriti Pratap’ – where she curates her designs for casual gowns, kaftans, jumpsuits, tunics, jackets and swimwear. It is through her label that she supports ethical fashion, which excludes the use of any kind of silk, leather, fur or any other raw materials sourced from killing animals.

Talking about her collection details, Shriti says “It’s all about ‘Sustainability’ which is Cruelty-free – no fur or leather, use of ethically organic cotton & recycled- up-cycled clothing. Best for Ready-to-wear fashion for women.”

While designing and developing my capsule collection of off whites we’ve considered our environmental footprint at every stage of our design process,” she adds.

Continuing to set the bar high for social and environmental sustainability in the fashion industry. Shriti’s collection is a mix of summer dresses, Bralettes, maxis and blouses in organic cotton with minimalistic use of metallic sequins, tassels and crochet. Also, there is a recycled up cycled line of ensembles developed from fabric wastes etc.

After a scintillating show by Shriti, the grand finale of IIFW NXT- the intimate tour Mumbai edition was presented by Rajasthan based designer Sharad Raghav. Sharad delineates his design philosophy as “ Sui Generis Personalized Perfection ”. He produces pieces that reflect his savoir-faire in design, for both men & women. Using fine detailing, with heritage fabrics and the use of embroidery for textural enhancement Sharad Raghav creates fashion with strong flavour.

Raghav showcased his newest collection called “Kalidoskope,” with lots of bright colours like white, yellow, pink, green, blue and other hues shades. Fabric is hosiery silk and used georgette, net to give layers and sheer, lots of flow and drapes & haters to add glamour.

IIFW is extremely glad to associate with the world renowned make-up academy Make-up Designory (MUD) as its official make-up partner and the luxurious Savage Bar & Kitchen as official venue partner.

“IIFW has devised a 7-city tour property in and around India which kick-started  from its Pune edition now coming to Mumbai, and moves on to Goa, Bengaluru, Delhi, and so on and so forth. We were eyeing to add some innovation & creativity to our approach in executing the IIFW Shows & initiate to provide a better platform for unexplored territories and reach out to designers, brands, models & Gen-next talents so that they get the proper exposer in one of the largest and potential sector in India .i.e. Intimate wear industry,” explains Niraj.
