26th JULY 2019, Mumbai: The Taiwan Excellence Gaming Cup (TEGC) returns for its sixth rendition! Are you ready to compete in India’s most favourite gaming sensation?
Being the longest-running eSports championship in India, TEGC brings together the best eSports athletes from around the country in a dazzling exhibition of skill, strategy and fun as they convene to honour the competitive spirit of gaming and determining the Champion.
Carrying forward its legacy of bringing a global eSports tournament experience to India, TEGC 2019 will have gamers battling at CS: GO, DOTA2 and PUBG. The field will be laid out on June 28th as the elimination rounds for CS:GO begins with the impressive line-up of cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore, Silchar, Kolkata, Pune and Mumbai followed by the online Qualifies of CS:GO, DOTA2 and PUBG, culminating in the grand finale which will be held in Mumbai on 27th& 28th September 2019. The grand finale will see the top 8 teams of each game CS:GO and DOTA 2 battling it out for massive prize pool of Rs. 10 lakhs and a bunch of Taiwan excellence products.
Also, this year TEGC will provide the winning team of CS: GO with a free trip to Taiwan where they will represent India at an International level in the Taiwan Excellence eSports championship in friendly matches between the TEGC winners from Taiwan, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand.
This year, leading Taiwanese brands like ADATA, AverMedia, MSI, Thermaltake, Transcend and many more will be showcasing their cutting-edge gaming products during the finale at Mumbai.
Over the years TEGC has carved a niche for itself in the gaming arena and has been about more than just winning.
