Canon Launches the 12th Canon Image Square in Mumbai

Mr. Andrew Koh, Senior Director, Image Communication Products Group, Canon India at the Canon store launch in Mumbai 2(2)Canon, a leader in digital imaging in India launched the twelfth Canon Image Square (CIS) in Mumbai today. It offers a complete range of photography and home printing solutions, in Maharashtra. The store was inaugurated by Mr. Andrew Koh, Senior Director, Image Communication Products Group, Canon India.

Along with excellent photography and photo printing solutions this exclusive store offers Canon’s wide range of products from high end, mid end to entry level DSLR’s and attractive new compact cameras from the PowerShot and IXUS series, in addition to other photography accessories such as tripods, chargers etc. The CIS stores also provide a range of printing services where customers can take prints of photographs directly from their smart phones, tablets, pen drives, memory cards or CD’s. The trained staffs at the stores assists customers in choosing products according to their specific needs. Other highlights include the comfortable EMI options available to customers for Canon products and regular free training workshops for DSLR camera buyers.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Andrew Koh, Senior Director, Image Communication Products Group, Canon India said, “Canon has been on a robust retail expansion spree across the country. This is a part of our effort to not only acquaint our customers with our varied range of products but also to engage them through an interactive and informative buying experience. The launch of our 22nd store in Maharashtra clearly underlines the importance of this market for Canon India. Further we intend to open three more stores in Maharashtra by May 2015. We are eager to reach out to photography enthusiasts all over the country and intend to build a strong bond with them through the CIS stores.”

The company plans to open over 200+ CIS stores by the end of 2015. Through these new stores, Canon wants to engage with existing as well as new customers for better services. The company currently has 132 Canon Image Squares in over 65 cities in India.

To further consolidate its position in the imaging industry, Canon has recently launched few new variants in PowerShot, IXUS and EOS range of cameras and more launches are planned further in 2015.
