AIRASIA INDIA CELEBRATES INAUGURAL FLIGHTS ACROSS ITS 3 NEW SECTORS

At Guwahati, departure guests for the inaugural flight witnessed a traditional lamp lighting & ribbon cutting ceremony which was facilitated by Honorable Minister Himanta BiswaSarma, Minister for Finance, Planning & Development, Assam and several other key personalities from the Guwahati Airport. Mr.Ankur Khanna, Chief Financial Officer, AirAsia India felicitated the dignitaries who were a part of our celebrations in Guwahati. On touchdown at Guwahati, the aircraft received a water canon salute to mark the landing of AirAsia India’s first flight connecting Bengaluru & Guwahati. Similarly, check-in counters at the Hyderabad Airport were also decorated to mark the launch of AirAsia India’s new station. A traditional lamp lighting ceremony, joined by AirAsia Allstars and important dignitaries from GMR Hyderabad was organized before the first flight from Hyderabad took off for Goa.

As no celebration is complete without some sweets, all guests on board first flights across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Goa& Guwahati received custom made chocolates from the cabin crew.
