Food art Competition between 300 chefs at Culinary Art India 2015

ChefIndian Culinary Forum in association with Hospitality First & ITPO organized Participant shawcase his In Food art Competition between 300 chefs at Culinary Art India 201510th edition of ‘Culinary Art India, 2015′,which started today at Hall no. 18, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. With 300 chefs under one roof exhibiting their culinary skills to the masses, the international event also saw the participation of the chef fraternity from many parts of north India, Hyderabad & Mumbai.
Scheduled from March 10th – March 14th, 2015, the event will be a gastronomic treat for guests and delegates. ‘Culinary Art India, 2015’ has been specially created to recognize the excellence of culinary skills in India. The very first day of the festival saw live-cooking by renowned chefs and showcasing ‘Authentic Indian Regional Cuisine.’ The special food art was praised by the guests and other visitors at the event. The Culinary competition will be judged by WACS (World Association of Chefs Societies) certified chefs and renowned food critics.
The second day of the event shall witness chefs participating in various categories of culinary skills which include -3Tier Wedding Cake and Plated Appetizers. The Chefs here will exhibit every aspect of food and help promote different cuisine across the world. The Third and Fourth day of the festival will see chefs showcasing ‘Three Course Set Dinner Menu’, ‘Petit Fours & Pralines’ and ‘mocktails’. The chefs will also be seen inspiring, connecting and educating consumers about food and also bring different food culture under one roof. Prominent names from the culinary world will also be attending the Awards Ceremony to be held on 14th March 2015 at Pragati Maidan.

It was formed in New Delhi in 1987 as an exclusive non-profit-making organization, dedicated solely to the advancement of culinary art in India. The Forum’s objective is to act as a link, platform, useful and necessary instrument for the national community of chefs. The World Association of Cooks Societies (WACS) is a 93-nation fellowship comprising the world’s professional chefs’ organization. The ICF, has an international culinary focus and staging of its various competitions, seminars and events.
WACS – World Association of Chefs Societies: The World Association of Chefs’ Societies or WACS in short, is a global network of chefs associations first founded in October 1928 at the Sorbonne in Paris. At that first congress there were 65 delegates from 17 countries, representing 36 national and international associations and the venerable August Escoffier was named the first Honorary President of WACS. Today, this global body has 110 national chefs associations as members that represent 110 countries, over 10 million professional chefs worldwide. The biennial congress is a hallmark tradition of WACS and has been organized in over 20 cities across the world throughout its illustrious 82- year history.
