Maharashtra Class Owners’ Association to felicitate teachers having outstanding contribution in the field of Education

1000 Class Owners from Maharashtra are expected to participate.

Mumbai: Established in the year 2000, Maharashtra Class Owners’ Association (MCOA) which is a non-profit making association of class-owners in Maharashtra have decided to felicitate teachers having outstanding contribution in the field of Education on September 09, 2018 at King George Auditorium, IES, Raja Shivaji Vidyalaya Sankul, Dadar East, Hindu Colony, Mumbai.

To name a few dignitaries expected to be present at the event are Shri. Manohar Joshi, Ex Chief Minister, Ex. Speaker; Shri. C. Vidyasagar Rao, Governor of Maharashtra; Shri. Nitin Potdar, Corporate Lawyer and partner of top legal firm J.Sagar & Associates as a Chief Guests and Shri. Jagdeep Kapoor, Brand Guru, Samsika Marketing Consultants would be amongst the Guest of Honor. Eminent personalities from the coaching class industry like Shri. JK Shah, Chairman, JK Shah Classes; Shri. Mahesh Shetty, Chairman, Mahesh Tutorials Educare Ltd.; Shri. Sanjeev Gala, Marketing Head, Navneet Ltd. and many others would also be attending the event.

Event is likely to witness participation from more than 1000 class owners from Maharashtra and aims to encourage & motivate Teachers to be True Nation Builders & seek measures to be taken to increase respect of the teaching profession. Felicitation of Teachers, Authors & Education NGO’s having outstanding contribution in the field of education will be done by the Legends of Education Fraternity. Experiences and speeches will be delivered on stage by the experts in the educational field.

Sachin Karnavat, President, MCOA is of the view that“MCOA is established to bring all coaching class owners under one roof & fight for their problems. We have an entry barrier for Coaching Classes to protect and sustain the Coaching Class industry, MCOA becomes the right platform where all Class owners of a particular area can come together and decide a uniform fees and various other parameters which will help the class owners to survive in the current hyper competitive market. Apart from this, we are also at the forefront in taking up matters with Education Minister like paper leaks, wrong question, clashing time-tables, exam center etc. The Committee put forth views to the government on issues like Colleges involved in Capitation, Reduction of GST, Integrated coaching, Copyright act, Regulation bill by Govt. for coaching classes.”

 

“Other activities of MCOA includes, conducting monthly seminars and workshops at zonal levels across Mumbai and outskirts which helps all the class owners to be at par in the ever changing Education industry & provide the best services. MCOA has also formed a separate body called Teacher’s training institute which runs a comprehensive certified course called ‘Train The Teachers’ for teachers. Here committee trains them into Teaching Skills, Education Psychology & Personality Development.” He added. 

 

Mr. Karnavat concluded stating, “As mentioned in our tagline, ‘Let us merge to emerge’, MCOA is a mouth piece of coaching class industry and an initiative to structure the education industry. This event is mainly organised to bring all of them together and take a constructive step ahead for bright and healthy future”
