EverydaySure forays into food and beverages manufacturing with the launch of packaged drinking water under the brand name ‘Good Minute’.
The company will start bottling drinking water at its factories and opt for other options, such as third-party contracts with bottling companies and joint ventures. Good Minute Packaged Drinking Water will be available nationwide over the next six to eight months, said EverydaySure’s spokesperson, Poonam Sharma.
EverydaySure’s vision is to make ‘Good Minute’ a multi-category FMCG brand. The company plans to expand its product portfolio to spices, atta, rice, pulses, dairy products and other non-alcoholic beverages next. The company representative said.
According to the Trade Promotion Council of India, the packaged drinking water bottle market in India was valued at $24 billion in 2019 and is to reach $60 billion by the end of 2023.
Flavoured bottled water has also become popular in India. The non-alcoholic beverages market may expand at a compound annual growth rate of 8.7% to reach Rs.1.47 trillion by 2030, according to a new report.
Recently, EverydaySure has also started bottled water delivery service through a new platform and app under the ‘EverydaySure Water’ brand, with trials currently ongoing in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane.
