Accelya Kale MD & CEO Vipul Jain receives the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award
Accelya, the leading provider of financial and business intelligence solutions to the Airline industry, today announced that Vipul Jain, MD & CEO – Accelya Kale won Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award (APEA) in the outstanding category for the India Chapter at the ceremony hosted at New Delhi, India on 21st March 2015.
Vipul Jain is the co-founder of Accelya Kale Solutions Limited (erstwhile Kale Consultants). Under his leadership Accelya Kale has developed in a global product company which is recognized as a leader and an innovator serving the airline industry. Accelya Kale won the NASSCOM IT Innovation Award for pioneering the platform based BPO model in 2007.The Company has been selected twice in Forbes Asia’s 200 List of ‘Best Under a Billion’ in 2011 and 2013.
The award also recognized Vipul’s contribution as a social entrepreneur, having started Catalysts for Social Action (CSA) in 2002, a Not-For-Profit organization dedicated to the cause of child welfare and rehabilitation.
Organized by Enterprise Asia and supported by local governments and businesses, the prestigious Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards is a world-class award recognizing and honouring business leaders who have shown outstanding performance and tenacity in developing successful businesses within the region.
There was an in-depth search and selection process for the award which began with pre-selection of nominees, evaluation of nomination form and on-site audit & verification by third party auditors. The process culminated with an interview and assessment by a diverse panel of independent, impartial and seasoned individuals from various backgrounds.
