Notably, he played a very vital role as the investigating officer in the Malvani hooch tragedy, which claimed the lives of 108 people. Through tireless efforts and endless dedication, he worked to ensure that justice was meted out to the victims by awarding the accused a 10-year prison sentence with a fine. This is very laudable in the effort toward upholding the law and giving justice to the victims and their families.
