Fitness for me is feeling healthy. It doesn’t mean you have to be muscular or an athlete. If I’m feeling fit, healthy and happy from within, that is fitness for me. The most important thing is to feel good about yourself and that makes you feel fit from within. Fitness is purely a state of mind for me.
My fitness mantra is to eat everything but in small and limited quantities. Eat that amount of food which can be digested easily and you don’t have to work out extra.
As the lead of Sony SAB’s Tenali Rama, I have to remember a lot of dialogues which can be tricky sometimes. To ensure I maintain a balance between mind and body, I meditate a lot. I am largely into meditation and I do it regularly, even while shooting. I also go to my Guruji’s Ashram at times just to find that tranquility. Meditation plays a huge role in my life and keeping balance between my mind and body in this hectic job.
I eat everything but in small portions. I also make sure to eat every 2 hours as my metabolism rate is a little low. I try taking power naps, whenever I can, just to keep myself and my mind fresh and healthy.
Salad is my go to healthy snack. I love having different types of salad including cereal salad, vegetable salad, fruit salad, etc.
My cheat meal comprises of lot of rich Indian food like Paneer Makhani and food prepared in Ghee. I am a Marwari guy and I love eating lot of Rajasthani food like Dal Baati Choorma during my cheat day.
Dal Baati Choorma is my favourite and something I cannot resist
I would like to tell all my fans that being fit is not about going to the gym and lifting heavy weights. Stay fit by doing little activities that keep you fresh, happy and relaxed. The most important thing is to give peace to your mind in addition to keeping your body healthy. So eat right and in limited portions.
