Adding a dash of color to the mundane life through various activities with the fun-packed learning experience, the city’s unique exhibition ‘Kids Mela’ opened atGrowel’s 101 mall in Kandivali. The two-day exhibition received an overwhelming response with thousands of footfalls on 27th and 28th June.
The highly interactive exhibition saw participation from all the children, right from the crawling toddlers aging 2 to 15-year-old school-goers. This exhibition was organized in association with Growels 101 mall with an objective to create a platform for all those who are dedicatedly working on enhancing the intellect of the future generation, through experience.
Talking about the summer carnival, Urvi Vira, Head, Mall Marketing, Growel’s 101 Mall said, “The idea behind Kids Mela was to offer something innovative and unconventional to the participants. It’s nice to see so many children enjoying the activities. They have also given a strong message of environmental conservation through their action-packed performances in the skits. These FUN learning activities can best engage the kids and help them improve their skills and knowledge. We are happy with the success of the event and intend to host more such activities in the days to come.”
The visitors were enthralled by several activities hosted by children with zeal and zest to learn and enjoy. The children created beautiful pots using clay. They painted a pot and planted a sapling in it. A visitor present on the occasion said, “Nothing can be more joyful than planting a green idea for mankind. The children left us awestruck with their outstanding performances in a skit to create awareness on environment.” Shaktiman fame Mukesh Khanna was present on the occasion.
Kids Mela supports the upcoming event of Growel’s 101 mall with the theme ‘Joy of Giving‘, through which their visitors are encouraged to come and donate clothes, toys and footwear necessarily in a good condition from their kid’s closet. The feeling is to share something which the children are attached to.
