Mumbai, 21 Nov 2017: Acknowledging the importance of possessing an excellence in education and degree programs by its hospitality management students, Atharva college of hotel management and catering technology & B.H.M.S. (Business & Hotel Management School) has jointly pledged for an association.
An MoU to this effect was signed on Tuesday, 21st November 2017 in Atharva Campus’ by the honorable Executive President, Atharva Group of Institutes, Shri Sunil Rane & his Excellency, Mr. Heinrich Meister, President, B.H.M.S & a member – Benedict Group of Education. Senior Officials of the two organizations witnessed the signing ceremony. The knot between the two esteemed Groups is consenting into the association to develop collaborative approach towards each other for the overall academic development.
This association aims to promote international academic cooperation and the exchange of teaching and research experiences between B.H.M.S. and Atharva College of Hotel Management & Catering Technology. B.H.M.S. is also delighted to receive students from Atharva College to its Swiss study top up program. B.H.M.S. has allocated a special scholarship for each students of Atharva College. The collaboration also emphasizes the professional staff development exchange program in the areas of business, hotel hospitality & culinary management.
His excellency, Mr. Heinrich K. Meister, President, B.H.M.S. has shared his views on this and said, it’s a new start after collaborating with Atharva group of institute. This institute has all top quality amenities and facilities and we are very happy with collaboration. He also added that with this collaboration both the institutes will bring their strength together to grow together.
The student community will be greatly benefited from this association as they will now be able to pursue not only higher education in the form of specialized courses, not only in hospitality management, through Indian and Foreign University, but also secure respectable jobs in top niche hospitality industry/sector. There is constant endeavor to improve academic administration and curriculum up gradation through involvement of faculty from both institutions.

Whenever we talk about hospitality management, the 1st name of the country come is Switzerland. This country is more known for perfection, quality work and dedication. Keeping this in mind we are joining hands with them and brining them in our country to make India and Switzerland as one of the top line countries in the world for the perfection ”
While signing the MoU Dr. Anthony J.ERB, international academic dean , Mr. Giovanni Rebai, international manager, Mr. Hem Chand Verma, Head operations, Ms. Jia sawardekar, international officer and Mr. Suyog Patkar, regional manager were also present at the event .
