Miss Universe and Bollywood Star Lara Dutta to walk the ramp and present awards to the winners
Mumbai: All About Talent (AAT) in its continuous endeavor to promote talent and bring out the best in the fashion industry is set to organize Page3 Awards in association with Sasmira’s Enchanté 2018 at Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel, Powai, Mumbai on September 28th, 2018.
Page3 awards is to be one the largest Awards, providing a platform for Fashion, Jewelry, lifestyle and Accessory Designers from regional Cities and beyond to showcase their collection, talent, market their creativity and network with clientele from Fashion & Film Industry.
This year the event will be providing a common platform to the emerging designers and commercially established designers to showcase their talent in front of the eminent jury from the fashion fraternity. Collections to be shown at the event would be from established designers and collections of the graduating batch of Fashion Design students, which will be an actual representation of the things which students have learnt during their years of education at SASMIRA. Like previous editions thecentral theme of the Fashion Collection 2018 is “Stories Retold” and the students have designed their collections picking up inspirations from the various stories that they have been reading & hearing since their childhood. How they have internalized these stories, how these stories – its theme, characters, settings, ethos, have been rousing them to conceive an idea that pushes them to weave designs on the looms of their creativity is the essence of their collection. It is both nostalgic as well as neoteric in its conception.
The students have designed Indian; Indo-Western & Western wear collections. These collections have a wide variety of colors, fabrics – especially in the usage of various natural & manmade fiber fabrics; textures and surface ornamentation techniques, etc. These collections are a representation of the things they have learned during their years of education at SASMIRA.
Miss Universe, Bollywood Star Lara Dutta will be presenting awards to the winners and walking the ramp as a show stopper for Gujarat based designer Manuni Vyas. Apart from her, Actresses Aparna Dixit and Indian singer, television and film actress Tia Bajpai are also going to attend the event as a special guests and present the awards. Shakir Shaikh, Abhimanyu Singh Tomar will be the show directors for the fashion awards.
To name a few eminent fashion designers associated with the event as a Jury are Arfi Lamba, Vaishali Shadangule, Tasneem Merchant, Jhelum Dalvi, Reshma Merchant amongst others. Siddharth Kannan will be the star anchor for the show. Special performance by Bollywood Playback Singer Arko Mukherjee andVoilinist Sandeep Thankur are also on the cards.

We intend to assist emerging artist by getting proper guidance and give the fashion and lifestyle industry best designers who can be the trend setter. We are in continuous endeavor to build up platforms which can help them to bring their work under limelight, network and keep growing!!!”
Just like previous editions, Winner may also get a chance to design costumes for an upcoming Bollywood Movie or a TV Serial.
