BJP youth leader Tiwana will go on Dharna if the BMC fails to protect open spaces.

“We all just crib about the BMC reserved open spaces for Public Facilities are being grabbed by land mafias but we don’t do anything to stop such illegal activities. I have taken up the initiative to save all the open spaces in Malad West that are reserved for public utility said” Tajinder Tiwana, BJP youth leader. Further he added that he have started with his own locality as you all must be aware that there is not a single Dhobi Ghat Facility in Malad West

The reservation of land in Evershine Nagar under Dhobi Ghat and Dhobi Housing owned by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation bearing C.T.S. No. 307/66A of Village Valnai. There is about 2 acres of vacant land available for construction of Dhobi Ghat facility which if not identified soon will also be grabbed as major part of the land has already been grabbed by land mafias said Mr.Tiwana.

He had requested Member of Parliament Shri Gopal Shetty to take up this issue on priority basis with the Municipal Commissioner and kindly provide for a state of the art facility of Dhobi Ghat for Malad and He have sent letters to DMC and AMC
