With 1900+ seats sprawled over 1.9 Lakh sq. ft., the look and feel of the facility in the Economic Capital of India is on par with the global design and aesthetic standards of WeWork. In Mumbai, the start-up giant has worked with various emerging and established local artists to develop murals for different spaces around the building and create bespoke prints for certain rooms.

“WeWork BKC” offers its members three types of memberships, including hot desks, dedicated desks, and private offices starting at Rs. 18,000, Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 40,200 per month, respectively. This includes wi-fi, housekeeping, private noise-controlled office, parking, networking events, and plenty more. “WeWork BKC” also ensures mobility and ease of travel given its connectivity to south and north Mumbai through the Eastern Express Highway, Worli Sea link and as well as the Mumbai metro, which is going to open soon.

Commenting on the Mumbai launch Karan Virwani, Director – WeWork (India) said, “The sharing economy trend in India is gaining traction as more consumers, particularly urban millennials, are finding it convenient and cost-effective. Our locations will help companies of all sizes with the opportunity to collaborate through refreshing design, engaging community, and added benefits. Today we are not only building workspaces, but enabling entrepreneurial stories in India.” He further added, “With a rise in the number of start-ups and freelance professionals over the last few years, co-working spaces, have become the new buzzword in Mumbai.
