Kochi- Voxtur bio limited, one of the leading manufacturers of the medical detection kits in India, has organised two free dengue fever medical detection camp in Kochi. The free medical camps assume importance in the wake of rapid spread of dengue fever in Kerala. Voxtur has organised the first free medical camp along with Rotary club of Cochin down town and Indian medical association at Dist. Gov. general hospital, Ernakulum.
The camp was opened by Dr. Anitha, the Superintendent of Govt. General Hospital. Mr. Viral Gandhi chairman and MD of Voxtur bio limited handed over the free dengue detection kit to Dr. Anitha during the function. Dr. Sunil Mathai, the past president of Rotary club of cochin down town and Dr. Junaid Rahman, KGMOA, Secretary and Principal advisor of hospital development society have also grace the occasion. Rotary club of Cochin down town President Viju Mathew delivered welcome speech and hospital RMO performed vote of thanks.
The second camp was at Amrita Community health training centre at Njarakkal. Mr. S. Sharma MLA inaugurated the camp. Voxtur bio limited has organised this camp along with Rotary club of Cochin and Amrita institute of medical sciences. ‘This life saving camp is very helpful for common man to detect dengue fever which is spreading in Kerala’ said S. The camp was presided by Shilda Rebera, the President of Njarakkal Panjayath. Dr. Puneet Dhar, President Rotary International, Dr. S. Aswathy, Panjayath ward member Sunil Dutt, P.K.Sudhakaran, have also grace the occasion. Dr. Teena Mary Roy, administrator Amrita Community health training Centre, delivered welcome speech and K.kumaran kutty performed vote of thanks.
