Directorial debut of writer – Prem Singh, the movie features ace-artists like – Piyush Mishra & Alka Amin in the lead roles and is produced by Mr. Shashi Prakash Chopra. Katran carefully puts spotlight on the painful examinations of broken, decaying marriage of a couple. In their personal capacity, both Piyush & Alka bring alive the agony, wrenching human experiences of their characters with their unforgettable performances.

The story is focused around depiction of a crumbling relationship of an elderly couple who decide to end their 36 years of marriage but, realize that in obscure corners of their house still resides a little tug of love that brings them together. Beginning with portrayal of emotional tension between the characters of Piyush Mishra & Alka Amin, the story unfolds their relationship in its final fractures with many unevolved issues and then leading to an eventful conversation between them on the way to the lawyer.
