A beautiful romantic song from the Hindi film “Sapna – A Run of Love” was recently shot at Bollywood Park in Mumbai’s Film City. This song features lead actor Santosh Mizgar and renowned actress Niharica Raizada. A press conference was also held on this occasion, attended by Santosh Mijgar, Niharica Raizada, and special guest lyricist Sameer Anjaan, who has penned the songs for the film. The film also stars Nepali actress Princi Khatiwada, Prasad Khandekar, Shri, Kiran Kumar, and Shubhangi Latkar.
The film is produced by Starcraft Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., Gandharva Enterprises, and Excel. It is directed by Vishal Gaikwad, with music composed by DH Harmony and SRM Alien, lyrics by Sameer Anjaan, and choreography by Subhash Nakash. The film’s shooting will take place in Mumbai, Nashik, Nepal, London, the USA, and Europe.
Lyricist Sameer Anjaan shared that the story of “Sapna” inspired him to write its songs. “When the story is good, everything else falls into place. A romantic story without melodious music is impossible. Santosh Mijgar has done a lot of work in Marathi cinema, and this is his first time in Hindi cinema. He is making this film with dedication, passion, and hard work. The film has seven different songs, and I hope to take the audience back to the melodious era of the 90s. I am confident that people will love the music.”
The film’s lead actor, Santosh Mijgar, spoke to the media about the story, saying it revolves around a cinema lover. He added, “The hero of this film is not just me, but the story itself. Nepali actress Princi plays an important role, and casting a Nepali heroine was essential to the story. I am grateful to the legendary lyricist Sameer Sir for blessing us with his beautiful songs. When he heard the story, he said he enjoyed writing the songs because it has a lot of melody and reminds him of the music of the 90s. The love story also has a comic flavor, and Prasad Khandekar has played the role of a narrator wonderfully. Vishal Gaikwad is a skilled director who has done a great job.”
The female lead, Niharica Raizada, plays the character Naina and is excited about her role and the film. She shared that she signed the film because of a particular shot that will amaze the audience.
Santosh Mijgar further added, “Fulfilling a dream doesn’t just require money but hard work and determination. I decided that I would first earn money and then act in films. The character in Ajay Devgn’s film ‘Dilwale’ inspired me to weave the story of ‘Sapna.’ The hero is inspired by a dream. The shooting of the film is ongoing, and we hope to present it to the audience soon.”
Nepali actress Princi said, “We are shooting the film ‘Sapna’ in a very pleasant atmosphere, full of joy. Since childhood, I have watched Bollywood films and songs, and that’s how I learned Hindi. I am very excited about ‘Sapna.'”
