A tragic taken place during AAP anti-Land Bill rally, Rajasthan farmer commits suicide. on Wednesday at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) anti-Land Bill rally in Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. The farmer identified as Gajendra Singh, a resident of Nangal Jhamarwada village in Dausa, also left a suicide note stating that he has three children and had been disowned by his father due to crop damage after recent rains and hailstorm.
Gajendra climbed a neem tree near the AAP rally venue, tied a rope around his neck and the other was tied on a branch and them jumped. Even though AAP volunteers tried to stop the farmer from committing the act, brought him down from the tree and rushed him to a hospital but he could not be saved.
The man was immediately rushed to Ram Manohar Lohia hospital just a few minutes drive from Jantar Mantar but the doctors declared him brought dead. Dr. Sunil Saxena of Ram Manohar Lohia hospital said, “The farmer was brought dead.”
Relatives of Gajendra Singh, the farmer who committed suicide during an Aam Aadmi Party rally in New Delhi, on Thursday alleged that their family member had met Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia before the public gathering, further speculating that crop damage due to the recent unseasonal rains may have forced him to take the extreme step.
