This campaign is about providing Indian consumers with natural, high-quality options that enhance their everyday nutrition and culinary experiences. India is a country which holds a strong cultural connection to dried fruits in festive celebrations, traditional sweets, and healthy snacking, and we believe it is the ideal market for our naturally sun-dried, preservative-free dried fruits. We look forward to making Turkish dried fruits a preferred choice in households across India.”
Consul General Mustafa Kemalettin Eruygur emphasized the significance of this launch in strengthening trade relations between Türkiye and India, adding: “The introduction of Turkish dried fruits into India is a reflection of the ever-growing trade and cultural ties between our two nations. As both countries continue to expand their trade relations, we are confident that Turkish dried fruits will find a special place in Indian households and food industries.”
Turkish dried fruits come in various types and forms, catering to diverse culinary needs. While sun-dried figs are enjoyed whole or processed into diced, paste, and granule forms for jams and confectionery, sultanas are available in light-colored varieties for baking or naturally sun-dried for cereals and desserts. Pistachios are offered whole, roasted, chopped, sliced, or as flour and paste, perfect for snacks, desserts, and confectionery. Each variety reflects Türkiye’s rich agricultural heritage, making them essential ingredients in both traditional and modern recipes worldwide.
