Friday night was buzzing at Pune’s Citrus Hotel, as it unveiled to the city its finest Indo-Chinese casual dining restaurant, Punchin. The lights were bright, the music foot tapping and the cameras flashed as the city’s elite, on special invitation, made their presence felt at the grooviest new restaurant in town. It was a night to remember, and will be the first of many a memorable nights Punchin is likely to see in the coming years! At Punchin, the concept is simple – the AmritsariKulcha meets the Chilly Noodle, combining the two most popular cuisines of India; Punjabi &desi Chinese! As soon as you walk in, you can’t help but admire the swish interiors with their bright colours and glass facades. The centerpiece is undoubtedly the show kitchen, two of them, for tandoor and grill.
