Mumbai First is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated flagship event dedicated to the sustainable development of coastal cities, the Global Coastal Cities Summit 2023 (GCCS). This is to be held on 30th May 2023 in the vibrant coastal city of Mumbai. This landmark summit will bring together international experts, policymakers, business leaders, and coastal community representatives to discuss and collaborate on critical challenges facing coastal regions and chart a course toward a resilient and prosperous future.
Under the theme of “Navigating Coastal Challenges: Building Sustainable Communities,” the Global Coastal Cities Summit will provide a unique platform for knowledge exchange, innovative thinking, and actionable strategies to address the complex issues affecting coastal cities worldwide. As the impacts of climate change continue to intensify, coastal regions are increasingly vulnerable to rising sea levels, extreme weather events, and environmental degradation.
