Lakmé Fashion Week continues to celebrate its 15th year of prominence. This time, the Mumbai model auditions were held on the 15th of July at the Palladium Hotel, Mumbai.
An eminent panel of judges chose six winners after three grueling and competitive rounds of auditions for the upcoming Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2015. The auditions saw over 140 aspiring models at India’s most sought after model hunt.
India’s most prestegious and esteemed launch pad for promising models, the LFW Model Auditions has in the past, introduced some of the most successful and thriving names in the industry like Katrina Kaif, Yana Gupta, Mugdha Godse and Miss India World, Kanishta Dhankar, among others. The initiative is an integral part of LFW’s commitment to constantly provide a foundation for emerging runaway talent.
Saket Dhankar, Vice President and Head- Fashion, IMG Reliance, said: “Models play a very crucial role in a fashion week showcase. Lakmé Fashion Week model auditions continue to unearth some of the most talented fresh faces every season, playing a vital role in curating the premier fashion platform. We have identified six promising divas who will add to the runway talent this season.”

The jury panel comprised of an amalgamation of fashion experts and proponents of the Indian fashion industry, such as top model Sarah Jane Dias, fashion designer Neeta Lulla, fashion choreographer Anu Ahuja, Saket Dhankar, Vice President and Head- Fashion, IMG Reliance and Purnima Lamba- Head of Innovations, Lakmé.”
