Hon’ble Dr. Satyapal Singh, Minister of State – HRD (Higher Education) inaugurated the ICSI Golden Jubilee Year National Conference of Practising Company Secretaries (19th Edition) on the theme “”PCS- A Value Driven Professional” at Mumbai today. In his Inaugural Address, he expressed that, “I congratulate and appreciate the efforts put in by ICSI in taking up the responsibility of educating the nation on various dynamic of financial sector in India. He also added that, “Every professional need to be committed and bring a total professional approach in this period of non-corrupt political atmosphere in India. ”
Shri Ajay Tyagi, SEBI Chairman who was the Guest of Honour stated that, “There are many new reforms suggested by the Finance Ministry which needs to be implemented in various corporate sector in achieving Good Governance, Transparency and accountability.”
Programme Director – ICSI welcomed the dignitaries and informed that The Conference would witness the path breaking discussions by eminent experts and professionals in their respective fields from the Government, Regulators and Academia.
