IB issues alert – 26/11 like attack in Mumbai

Just days after 2008 Mumbai terror attack mastermind and Lashkar-e-Toiba commander Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi was released from Pakistan jail, reports on Tuesday said that the terror outfit is again planning to attack Mumbai. There is a possibility of another 26/11 like attack in Mumbai in the next 2-3 months according to the Intelligence Bureau which issued an alert for the city

Intelligence agencies have alerted the Mumbai Police of a possible terror attack by LeT militants, reports said.

The IB alert said that terrorists will be from Lashkar-e-Toiba and are expected to be suicide bombers. All states and airports have now been put on high alert following the alert.
