Mumbai, July 2016: Monsoon season is all about splashing some colour to chase away the gloom. “Hues for the Rain” launched by Garo by Designer Priyangshu and Sweta is all about bold fashion statement this monsoon season. The collection embraces vibrant colours and beautiful floral embroidery giving it a constructive pattern.
The collection includes constructive and flowy pattern, using light fabrics like soft handloom chanderi, cotton matko, woven bapta silk, raw silk and chiffon textures with aquatic clours such as grey, blue, sea-green and shades of pink. The audacious collection speaks about the craftsmanship of the weavers, giving it a traditional yet modern flair. The collection consists of embroidered jackets, dhotis and flowy patched worked dresses.
Commenting on the same designer Priyansu and Sweta say, “Aquatic colours seem to be trending as ‘THE’ colours this monsoon. Aquatic colours are cool colours signifying the sea and rain, so we’ve tried to implement the season on our collection”
