Mumbai- 21st, January  2021: Creaticity, the largest home and furniture mall in India, has introduced the much-anticipated second edition of its insightful e-book Future of Homes. After the immense success of the first edition, an in-depth look at the impact of COVID-19 on the various industries in categories aligned with homes, the current edition takes it a step ahead with a wider array of views from industry experts.

The Future of Homes e-book is a compilation of industry voices, curated by Mr. Mahesh M, CEO, Creaticity. The home furniture and décor categories have hitherto been under-represented in the written word as compared to many other categories of organized trade. At its core, the e-book aims to bridge this gap while also providing a ringside view of wisdom from industry doyens to retailers, marketers, manufacturers, and designers.

Post the COVID-19 outbreak, in a world where the home has suddenly become the most important place, Creaticity is empowering stakeholders across home-related industries like home furniture, furnishings, décor, and allied advisory with real-time views in a practical and relatable manner. Such support and guidance are integral to the success of new-age professionals in the sector, especially at such a challenging time as this.

A great motivating factor behind the creation of a second edition of the e-book was the inclination to release a version with more article contributions to expand the views being provided through the collection of insights. Moreover, the brand felt the need to reach out to more audiences from different categories to help them introspect their own journeys during the peak of the pandemic and now, when we are largely attuned to the new normal.

In addition to the prominent names in the previous edition – Kavitha Krishna Rao (Ikea, India), Ashish Shah (Pepperfry), Anil Mathur (Godrej) and Govind Shrikande (Mentor and Ex MD at shoppers Stop) – the current edition features industry doyens including Manohar Gopal (Featherlite) and Latika Khosla (Freedom Tree) Rajat Wahi ( Deloitte), Yash Ahuja ( Panasonic). Apart from this, the e-book features a foreword from Kumar Rajagopalan (Retailer Association of India).

Speaking on the launch, Mahesh M, CEO, Creaticity, said, “I look back at what the compendium of wisdom from the industry leaders means to us and I am tempted to sum it up as the need to utilize the vowels of the new voyage, namely Adaptability, Empathy, Innovation, Ownership, and Understanding with more passion and commitment than ever as the journey continues into the new year. At Creaticity, it has always been our endeavor to carry out pioneering work and this e-book is another such initiative that reflects our quest for wisdom leadership, and home category specialization. We hope the industry fraternity respects the wisdom captured herein and relates some part of it to their own work and life in the post-pandemic era.”

Having committed itself to helm together the rich repository of collective visions of industry stalwarts, Creaticity intends to take the compilation into phase 2. The next edition will be aimed at reaching 50 names from the industry and bringing the perspectives of new start-ups and how they perceive opportunities in the new normal. The next edition is likely to be unveiled at the 2nd edition of the Home and Home+ Conclave slated for Q2, 2021.
