Mumbai, May 6, 2024 – The third day of the Bombay Times Fashion Week (BTFW) dazzled with a fusion of elegance and innovation, unveiling the latest trends and creations from visionary designers.
The day began with an amalgamation of fashion and social initiative with Aruna Sharma presents Rabiaz Walk for a Social Cause. The collection inspiration was drawn from all the women of substance that find the perfect balance in dazzle and simplicity in their career and personal life. Portrayal of grandeur and charisma of womenhood with a touch of culture with a range of Royal Traditional Lehenga cholis, Silk sarees, Anarkalis, and Indo-western styles embellished with intricate zardozi work, crystal work, mirror work, and beadwork. Designers Ritu Goel & Veena Manglani Das added glamour to the cause with Philanthropist & Singer Palak Muchhal walking along with powerful women from different walks of life. Reality star Shiv Thakare & Fashionista Aditi Gowitrika too expressed their support by walking along.
Sandhya Shah’s ‘Meraki’ collection ignited the runway with a vibrant homage to Moroccan and Greek textiles, blending exclusive artworks and prints on luxurious crepe fabric. Mannara Chopra’s captivating presence as the showstopper elevated the collection’s modern chic aesthetic, showcasing a range of chic jumpsuits, draped sarees, and coordinated sets that resonate with today’s fashion-forward audience.
Riiffs Parfums took olfactory artistry to new heights with their latest creation, ‘ELEGANCE ABSOLU.’ From its delicate top notes to its lingering base, each scent was meticulously crafted to embody sophistication and allure. With Amyra Dastur as the showstopper, the collection exuded an air of refined luxury, leaving an indelible impression on the senses.
Kiaayo presented ‘Adira,’ a testament to resilience and creativity rooted in the rich traditions of Kutch. Priyanka Chahar Choudhary’s striking presence as the showstopper perfectly complemented the collection’s vibrant modernity, celebrating the cultural diversity and craftsmanship of India.
Rupali Adani Fine Jewellery mesmerized with their latest collection, “Eternal Modernity,” a celebration of femininity and self-expression through exquisite jewelry pieces. With Isha Malviya as the showstopper, the collection seamlessly blended classic elegance with contemporary flair, appealing to today’s discerning fashion enthusiasts.
Lotus – Anuva Jewels X Esha L Amin transported the audience to a realm of vintage allure reimagined for the modern era. Adorned with shimmering sequins and statement embellishments, the collection captured the essence of timeless elegance with a contemporary twist. Karishma Tanna’s graceful presence as the showstopper added a touch of starlit glamour to the runway, embodying the collection’s captivating extravagance.
Nifd Global Navi Mumbai fashion designs students presented interesting & inspiring design ethos with style forward silhouettes & trendy colors at BTFW for the 5th season. The runway event showcased an impressive array of designs meticulously crafted of the fusion of traditional Indian handicrafts with contemporary flair.
Jasmin Bhasin turned showstopper for budding designer Nidhi Dubaria & Barkha Chabbaria while actor Aly Goni turned showstopper for designer Anju Gangar. The show garnered huge success at BTFW mesmerizing the Fashion glitterati & media.
The grand finale by Darwin’s Anuva, presented by the illustrious Vikram Phadnis, was a breathtaking display of boldness and refinement. Drawing inspiration from the rich palette of reds, blacks, and ivory, the collection showcased a fusion of passion and sophistication. Sonakshi Sinha’s magnetic presence as the showstopper encapsulated the collection’s enigmatic allure, transcending boundaries and redefining modern elegance.
As the curtains descended on another spellbinding day, Bombay Times Fashion Week 2024 culminated with amazing Designers, Actors, Models & Philanthropists – continuing to set new benchmarks for creativity and innovation, reaffirming its status as a beacon of excellence in the fashion world and making a statement that fashion can pave the way for a better world.
