An Ode to Geeta Dutt
Mumbai, December 19, 2019: To commemorate the legendary maestro Geeta Dutt’s 90th birth anniversary with the beginning of 2020, Payal Rohatgi in association with Miracle Films is hosting a live musical event. The Beautiful & Gorgeous actress is giving a recital to The First Nightingale of India. Payal Rohatgi, is the finalist at Femina Miss India and a sensational participant of Big Boss in 2008. The unprecedented concert will showcase legendary singers mesmerizing musical journey would captivate fans on 28th December, 2019 at Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir, Bandra from 7:45pm onwards.
One can expect classics like ‘Mera Naam Chin Chin Choo’ (Howrah Bridge, 1950), Hoon Abhi Main Jawan’ (Aar- Paar, 1954), Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Sitam (Kaagaz Ke Phool, 1959), piya aiso jiya mein (Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam, 1962), Tadbeer Se Bigadi Huyee Taqdeer (Baazi 1995) & many many more.
The musical night will be rendered by leading playback singer Sanjeevani Bhelande along with a band of popular stage artists like Soumya Varma, Anupama Roy & Ashish Shrivastava. They are hugely popular among stage audience. They do at least 5 to 8 shows every month in Mumbai.
Sanjeevani Bhelande is the original Playback singer of superhit Hindi film songs like Chori Chori Nazrein Mili, Churalo Na Dil Mera Sanam, Haan Judaise for Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s film Kareeb. She is the first ever winner of Indian reality TV show SA RE GA MA PA to have sung playback in mainstream Bollywood films. Sanjeevani has performed in 2000 live concerts across the globe.
Miracle Films hosts shows on the Pre-Golden Era from 1945- 1952 to revive the magic of Hemant Kumar, Talat Mehaboob, Geeta Dutt, Suraiya, Shamshad Begam & Noor Jahan. The newly launched company under the helm of Mr. Kamal Rajput desires to do shows on unique concepts like Ghazals, Urdu Music, etc. Very recently they have successfully completed 2 full house shows on Jagjit Singh.
