Mumbai,9th August 2016-The epicenter of cross cultural pollination – Istanbul forms the narration for Winter/Festive 2016-17 collection christened as ‘Constantinople’ by designer Shruti Sancheti for an exclusive preview on 9th August 2017, 6pm at KASHISH, Hughes Road in Mumbai.

The glamour packed evening was a star studded celebration with celebrities and socialites The stylish soiree witnessed celebrities & socialites like Tanisha Mukherjee,Sarah Jane Dias,Amyra Dastur, Priyanka Bose, Shaina NC,VJ Ramona Arena,Miss India winners Afreen Vaz & Vartika Singh and many more all dressed in creations by Designer Shruti Sancheti. The wine & cheese evening closed on a fun note as al the guests raised a toast for the designer!

The collection was a tribute to the modern Indian woman of today who has a global outlook but a traditional soul. She takes the festivities and her merriment very seriously yet wants to have fun and sport latest trends albeit in a conventional manner and loves the unsurpassed legacy of weaves, textiles and craft her country has to offer. Constantinople celebrates this neo-Ethnic Diversity. Silhouettes were an amalgamation of modern trends and prevailing customs so capes, asymmetrical Kurtas, crop tops, cold shoulder tops with draped ghagras and skirts along with conventional ghagras, chugas and maxi anarkali’s were an integral part of the collection.
