Bollywood actor Annu Kapoor and renowned lyricist and entrepreneur Kumarr will host a grand live Antakshari event in Bhopal on February 14, 2025, at Ravindra Bhavan. The event is set to bring together music lovers and showcase the city’s talent in a unique way.
Auditions for the competition will take place on February 12 and 13, and selected participants will compete in the final round on February 14. Winners of the live Antakshari will receive cash prizes. Along with the participants, audience members will also get a chance to win prizes through a lucky draw.
This event is being seen as the beginning of a new cultural tradition in Bhopal. Kumarr, who recently launched the radio show “Ae Zindagi Gale Laga Le” with Padma Shri awardee Suresh Wadkar, has been actively involved in promoting music and culture. His “Radio Column by Kumarr” has already gained popularity across India, and this Antakshari event is another step in that direction.
A significant aspect of the event is the introduction of the Studio Refuel app, through which audience members can book tickets online. This is the first time an event in Bhopal is using this platform for ticket sales.
Speaking about the initiative, Kumarr said, “Bhopal is deeply connected to its cultural roots. With this live Antakshari, we want to revive the joy of music and tradition while providing a platform for local talent.”
