MUMBAI, India, 07 December, 2016 — It’s official: Concur is one of the best places to work.
Concur, an SAP (NYSE: SAP) company and the world’s leading provider of integrated travel and expense management solutions, was honored with a Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award, recognizing the Best Places to Work in 2017. The Employees’ Choice Awards program relies solely on the input of employees, who elect to provide feedback on their jobs, work environments and companies via Glassdoor®.
“Since Concur’s inception, we have focused on fostering a collaborative, dynamic and transparent global workplace and culture where our people are inspired to do their best work,” said Mike Eberhard, president, Concur. “It is a great honor to receive this feedback from our employees and be recognized as one of the best places to work in the U.S.”
Concur jumped to the 24th spot among all U.S. companies with more than 1,000 employees. This marks the second consecutive year Concur has ranked in the top 50.
On Glassdoor, current and former employees of companies worldwide can share insights and opinions about their work environments by providing a company review, designed to capture a genuine and authentic inside look at what it’s like to work in particular jobs and companies. When sharing a company review on Glassdoor, employees are asked to rate their satisfaction with the company overall, and key workplace factors like career opportunities, compensation, benefits, work/life balance, senior management, as well as culture and values. In addition, employees are asked to describe the best reasons to work at their companies as well as any downsides.
“Company culture and the employee experience are critical considerations for job seekers everywhere when deciding where to work. To help, the Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Awards recognize companies that truly stand out as Best Places to Work because they’re purely determined by the authentic voice of those who really know a company best – the employees,” said Robert Hohman, Glassdoor CEO and co-founder. “Employers where employees love to work continue to prove that they have a recruiting and business performance edge. We’re proud to celebrate the 2017 Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Awards winners in earning this incredible achievement.”
The Best Places to Work are determined using company reviews shared by U.S. based employees between November 2, 2015 and October 30, 2016. To be considered for the large category, a company must have at least 1,000 or more employees and have received at least 75 company reviews from U.S.-based employees during the period of eligibility. The final list is compiled based on Glassdoor’s proprietary algorithm, and takes into account quantity, quality and consistency of reviews.
