Artist Aloud introduces Roop Sagar with his debut Ghazal single ‘Ehbaab’

Mumbai, September 2016: Artist Aloud, the one-stop destination for independent talent and content has played a pivotal role in promoting the artistes and given them a platform to showcase their talent. Artist Aloud is proud to present the debut ghazal single of U.K. based poet Roop Sagar’s new album ‘Ehbaab’ along with Sunil Kumar Sajal and Dalbir Virdi. The ghazal is very melodious and composed with various western and traditional instruments making it a soulful treat for ghazal lovers. ‘Ehbaab’ means people who are very close to the writer’s heart. It is a poet’s imagination through his experiences in life.

The ghazal has been sung by the gifted Sunil Kumar Sajal. The vocalist and composer’s work centres around Punjabi and Urdu ghazals. Sunil has been truly inspired by artistes like Mehdi Hasan, Jagjit Singh, Gurdeep Singh & Chandan Das. The lyrics have been penned by Roop Sagar, his romance with poetry blossomed in his teenage years and his interest towards poetry got him to learn Urdu. He had the privilege to meet an eminent poet and lyricist late Sudarshan Faakir who got him interested in writing. And a young county cricket player soon realised his passion for poetry.
