Triveni promotes saree culture with a twist Dare2Drape- a unique campaign by Triveni.

Triveni, one of the leading traditional brands and a 30 year old company in ethnic wear had an event today in the capital on a unique campaign- Dare2Drape.  The event was conducted at Vintage 31, Delhi from 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm.  The event was attended by the campaign’s leading faces -Dr. Supriya Himanshu (Lifestyle Journalist), Vishakha Talreja(the Founder and Editor of  The Hotel Explorer) and Garima Dutt (Journalist at Zee Media Corporation Limited), who are from Delhi itself.

The leading faces at the event shared their amazing experience with the audience. Some of the other leading faces who participated in this contest are Diksha Gupta (Assistant Editor at EFY Enterprises Pvt Ltd), Rasalila Dasi (owner of blog ‘108 ways to wear a saree’) Kseniia Iarovchyk (a Ukrainian belly dancer) and Tanuja Desai (Award winning author from London), Svetlana Mishra (a Software professional turned Actor/Model).

This campaign kick started in September which runs for 7 weeks. Dare2Drape challenge is based on 7 X 7 (7 drapes, 7 sarees, 7 nominations, 7 weeks, 7 winning drapes) theme. The competition started with 8 participants who took up the challenge of draping 7 sareers in 7 different styles. That’s not it, these contestants will then challenge another lot of 7 people and this process will continue for next 7 weeks and in the end, 7 best drapes will be rewarded with exciting gifts.

Ms. Dolly Jain (who holds the Limca & India book record in draping Saree in 125 syles) is the Jury for this exciting Challenge and also will act as an expert for answering various queries on draping.
