The zealous and young Mumbai Designer Masumi Mewawalla did the grand finale at India Fashion Week Dubai – Season 4 showcasing her bridal label – Pink Peacock Couture. Designer Masumi Mewawalla showed her dream like collection to the world. The show was applauded with a loud appreciation and cheers.

The collection themed ‘The Ethereal Rose’ explores the nuances and subtleties of rose gold. When gold is alloyed with copper, it gives rise to a breath-taking, pinkish hue- Rose Gold. Masumi ingeniously decided to let this trend play out sartorially on the bridal runway. The collection had lehengas, anarkalis, gowns, capes, peplum pants and cape sarees.

The collection reveals every ounce of effort and love that has gone into creating something so special. It is a bridal couture that features the best handpicked fabrics, positive hues and traditional embellishments and other mesmerizing motifs.

Pink is every girl’s favourite and the collection definitely proves it. While the embroidery is deeply rooted in traditional India, the hint of pink takes way the starkness of gold and gives it a contemporary, English touch. Her collection comes complete with celebratory hues of red, pink, scarlet, blue and more. It is the quintessential bridal line woven with a modern spin.

Designer Masumi Mewawalla says, “It was really a great experience to be a part of Season 4 at India Fashion Week Dubai especially the grand finale. This was Pink Peacock Couture’s first foray into the global fashion week.”

Her designs are a perfect blend of the ethnicity of Indian wear and the edginess of Western outfits. She currently sells online on her own website = www.pinkpeacockcouture.com
